Daydream Translations
Hayley Lohn
My dreams have become more vivid and bizarre during the COVID-19 pandemic. This phenomenon can be explained by reduced new daily experiences that make our subconscious reach deeper for memories. I found that others were experiencing this, too, so I recorded accounts of my friends' dreams as a way to understand how our collective experiences are changing. The photos and written accounts in this ongoing project examine ideas of fantasy, imagination, and the collective unconscious.
