Sunbathing in the rain

Preston Park Recovery Centre

Different perspectives of nature, lockdown, the environment, our city, the sea.

Artist biography

We are members of Preston Park Recovery Centre, where we meet for mental health support and to connect to others, and some of us explore creativity in workshops/weekly groups. Photography is just one of the tools in our recovery toolkit. For the past five/six years the centre has exhibited our artwork as part of the Artist's open House exhibitions, and due to Covid 19, this year was cancelled, so it is great to have new avenues to showcase our work. This year we had started a series of workshops on 'How to be a climate warrior, not a climate worrier', so it seems apt that the photo fringe should focus on creating a safer greener world.
